The fig tree is blossoming

The ultimate and final Yom Kippur for the new nation of Beulah [Isaiah 62:4] will be on the last day of the seventieth week, as prophesied by Daniel and described in Revelation, a ‘week’ of seven prophetic years, exactly 2520 days. Then, five days later the final Sukkot will occur, after His people have made ‘atonement for their iniquity’, and then seventy five days after Yom Kippur, a fully restored and forgiven Israel will celebrate the final Hanukkah. This fits exactly with the additional days given by Daniel 12:11-12 ...thirty days plus forty five days equals seventy five.
At His Return, Christ will fulfil these Autumn festivals, exactly as he did with the Spring festivals during His first advent.

Matthew 24:32-34 – Christ tells us to learn from the fig tree, when it breaks into leaf, we can know that the end is near and this present generation will live to see it all.
Obviously, it was not that generation who heard His prophecy, but He means the last generation before these things take place. They ‘will live to see it all’, means within a lifetime, that is three score and ten = seventy years. The prophecy in:
Ezekiel 12:25-28 ....it will be put off no longer, you rebellious people [the Jewish people, symbolised by the fig tree] in your lifetime, I will do what I have planned......these prophecies are for a time far off.....Y’hovah says: there will be no more delays, it will be done.
.....tells us that within ‘your lifetime’, when the fig tree ‘breaks into leaf’ ,that is when Judah, again has control of the Land, Y’hovah will act once more in His creation. Therefore within seventy years of May 1948 - before May 2018, we can expect the commencement of the end of this present age.

Many of the Scriptures that I have pointed out and explained, will be at odds with some traditional doctrines and theology. Because of the seriousness of these issues and the probable direct consequences these events will have on you and your family, each reader must draw their own conclusions. Read the prophecies that describe future happenings, carefully comparing the different interpretations as given by various Bible scholars. But, the only real test of truth is God’s infallible Word, read literally (excepting the obvious allegories) From what I have read, most writers on end times subjects, simply ignore a lot of scripture, especially in the Old Testament, and my experience is; that when asked about this, they just do not reply.
Actually, disbelief and being ignored is what I expect when I point out the prophetic scriptures. After all, that was the general reaction to the prophets themselves. I will continue my task of trying to bring understanding to you and whoever cares to listen.
As Ezekiel was told in Ezekiel 33:7, it was his job to warn people, so if they refuse to listen, just can’t see it, don’t want to know, doesn’t suit their preconceived notions, or simply do not care – that is their concern, but I will not be responsible and will have saved myself.
Acts 13:40-41 Beware lest you bring down upon yourselves the doom prophesied. See this, you scoffers, marvel and begone, for I am doing a deed in your days, a deed that you will never believe when you are told of it. Ref. REB abridged.

Psalm 9:8-9 He it is who will judge the peoples with justice, He is a tower of strength for the oppressed.
Psalm 9:10 Those who acknowledge You will trust in You, for You do not abandon those who seek Y’hovah.

Psalm 9:13-14 Show us favour, Lord, raise us from the gates of death, so we may praise You.
Psalm 9:15-17 The nations are trapped in a pit of their own making. The Lord will make Himself known. All the nations who are heedless of the Living God, depart to Hell.
Psalm 9:18-20 The hopes of the poor and needy will be realized, for the Lord will arise and judge the nations – they will know that they are but mortal.

Psalm 10:1 Why do you hide yourself in times of trouble?
Psalm 10:2 The arrogant wicked pursue the afflicted – may their schemes be their downfall.
Psalm 10:3-6 The wicked boast of their plans, they revile the Lord and don’t consider Him. Their ways are always devious, they scoff at their adversaries and because nothing happens, they think it never will.
Psalm 10:7-11 The wicked person is full of deceit and violence. They catch innocent people and murder them secretly. He says to himself- “God has forgotten, He sees nothing”.
Psalm 10:12-14 Arise, Lord, set Your hand to the task. Do not forget the afflicted. The wicked reject You and say that You will not call them to account. You see that they love mischief and trouble. Their victims commit themselves to You, the helper of the fatherless. [The fire judgement, prophesied over 70 times in the Bible.]
Psalm 10:15-16 Break the power of the wicked and evil peoples, call them to account. The Lord is King forever and the evil neighbours have gone from Your Land.
Psalm 10:17-18 You hear, O God, the lament of the humble, encourage them and answer their prayer. Bring redress, so that no one will again inspire terror.
Ref: REB,NIV. Some verses abridged

My comments; These two Psalms tell us that the Lord will act when His righteous people pray to Him for deliverance from the plans of their evil neighbours. Jeremiah 12:14-22
Isaiah 59:18-20 According to their deeds, the Lord will repay. He will come as a Redeemer to Jacob and all who repent of their sins. Deut 32:41-43
Note, how in Ps 10:16, how the Land is cleared of all godless peoples. This allows His people, righteous Israel to gather and live there. Ezekiel 28:25-26 Before the Return.

Disaster is decreed

Jeremiah 11:6-8 Y’hovah said: Proclaim the terms of the Covenant to Judah. I gave solemn warning to your forefathers, obey Me – I told them. But they did not obey, so I brought upon them all the penalties that I had warned about.
[Both Israel and Judah were exiled from the Land, as punishment for their sins. Jeremiah 2:7-8]
Jeremiah 11:9-14 Y’hovah says: Now, the inhabitants of Judah and the citizens of Jerusalem conspire against Me, both the House of Israel and the House of Judah have gone back to the sins of their forefathers. Therefore, I am about to bring upon them a disaster from which they cannot escape. They may cry to Me for help, but I will not listen. Do not pray for these people, for I will not listen to them when they call to Me in the hour of their disaster.
[The Jewish people and the Israelites scattered around the world, who refuse to acknowledge and obey Y’hovah, will not be protected in “the hour of disaster”.

Jeremiah 11:15-17 What right have My people to be in My holy place, with their sinful ways? Can any sacrifice or offering atone for your evil ways and ward off the disaster that threatens you? Now, you will feel sharp anguish, once you were His holy people, now, with the roar of a mighty storm, He will burn up and consume you. Y’hovah, who had planted you has decreed disaster for both the House of Israel and the House of Judah because of their evil ways, provoking His anger.
[‘burn up and consume’ - The coming fire judgement, prophesied over 70 times.]

Jeremiah 12:14 These are the words of Y’hovah about all those evil neighbours who have encroached onto the Land which I allotted to My people Israel, as their holding: I shall uproot them from their places and I shall uproot the House of Judah from among them.
Jeremiah 21:14 I shall punish you as your deeds deserve, I shall kindle a fire in your Land, it will devour everything around it.
Jeremiah 25:30-33 Y’hovah roars from on high, He thunders from His dwelling place, He shouts against all the inhabitants of the Land. The great noise reaches the ends of the earth, Y’hovah brings a charge against all mankind and has handed the wicked over to the sword. Ruin spreads from nation to nation from a worldwide mighty tempest and those slain on that day will lie scattered from one end of the earth to the other, they will be as dung spread over the ground.
Isaiah 29:5-6 Yet the horde of your enemies will crumble into dust. Suddenly, in an instant, punishment will come from Y’hovah with thunder, earthquake and a flame of devouring fire. Reference: REB, NIV, KJV. Some verses abridged.
[This terrible Day of the Lord’s vengeance and wrath, will bring severe judgement to all the inhabitants of Greater Israel. Ezekiel 20:46-48 The coronal mass ejection that Y’hovah will use on that Day will affect the whole world, and then Jeremiah 30 and Ezekiel 36,tell us of how His righteous people will gather in Israel, to be His people and Y’hovah, their God.]

Deliver us, Lord

Isaiah 63:7-10 I shall tell of the Lord’s unfailing love and of the great things He has done for His people, in His compassion for Israel. He said: surely they are My people, they will not be false with Me. So, He, Himself delivered then from their troubles. He carried them through all the days of old. Yet, they rebelled and grieved His Holy spirit, so He turned against them and allowed enemies to conquer them.
[God chose and prepared a nation that would be His friends and a witness about Him to the world. Sadly, they rebelled against their Maker, so their punishment was exile. This was to be for a defined period, Ezekiel 4:4-6, now we look forward to the full and final regathering back to the Land.]

Isaiah 63:11-14 When in exile, they recalled the days long past and how Moses shepherded his flock through the sea and into the Promised Land, by the power of the Holy spirit. Thus, You led Your people and thereby gained everlasting renown.

Isaiah 63:15-16 Look down from the heavens – Your lofty throne and see us, Lord, for You are our father. Where now, is Your zeal and Your valour, You are withholding Your compassion from us. Even though Abraham may not know us and Israel does not acknowledge us, You, Lord, are our Father and our Redeemer from of old.
[“Abraham does not know us and Israel does not acknowledge us” The ten Northern tribes, now lost to general knowledge, can still call on their father and Redeemer of old.]

Isaiah 63:17-19 Why, Lord, do You let us wander from Your ways and harden our hearts, so that we no longer revere You? Turn again for the sake of Your servants, the tribes that are Your inheritance.
Why have enemies trespassed on Your sanctuary? Why have our enemies trampled the Land? You have not ruled over them, they are not Your subjects. We are Your people from ancient times, Your servants and witnesses.

Psalm 106:47 Deliver us, Lord our God, and gather us from among the nations, so that we may give thanks to Your Name and make Your praise our pride.

On that Day

2 Thessalonians 1:6-10 It is just; that Y’hovah should balance the account by sending judgement to those who afflict you, to give those who love and serve Him relief, when Jesus comes to punish the ungodly, with His mighty host in blazing fire. They will suffer the penalty of eternal destruction, but on that great Day His glory will be revealed to all true believers. Isaiah 30:26, Psalm 18:7-15
[This passage of Scripture is not describing the Glorious Return of Jesus for His Millennial reign. It is an event before then –‘ when He comes in blazing fire and reveals His glory among His own’. It does not fit how He destroys the armies that are attacking Jerusalem at His Return, then how the whole world will see Him]
2 Peter 3:10 The Day of the Lord will come unexpectedly. The heavens will disappear with a roar and flaming fire will bring all the earth to judgement. Malachi 4:1
Hebrews 10:26-27 For if we deliberately persist in sin after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there remains only the terrifying expectation of a fierce fire which will consume God’s enemies. Zephaniah 1:14-18
Psalm 110:5-6 The Lord at Your right hand – He crushes kings on the Day of His wrath. In majesty He judges the nations, causing destruction throughout the world. Ps.97:2
Revelation 14:14-20 On a white cloud, I saw a figure like a man, wearing a gold crown and holding a sharp sickle. Put in Your sickle and reap, for the time has come to harvest the earth. Then the angel that has authority over fire, called to Him - ‘Swing Your sickle now, for the earth’s grapes are ripe and ready for harvest. So the grapes were gathered and thrown into the great winepress of Y’hovah’s wrath. The blood flowed from it for 200 miles. Isaiah 63:1-6, Zephaniah 1:17

Jeremiah 51:5-6 Israel and Judah are not left widowed by their God, by Y’hovah. But their Land is full of guilt, condemned by the Holy One of Israel. Flee out of [this] Babylon, each person for himself or you will perish for her sins. For now comes the Lord’s Day of vengeance and wrath, He is paying her full recompense.
Isaiah 17:4-10 On that Day, Jacobs strength will fade away, as when a reaper gathers the grain or as an olive tree is stripped at harvest and left with just a few berries. On that Day all will look to their Maker, all idols and the works of their hands are as rubbish. On that Day, cities will be deserted and abandoned, because you have forgotten Y’hovah, your strength and protector. Jeremiah 9:12-13, Isaiah 6:11-12
Isaiah 17:12-14 Listen! It is the thunder of vast forces, like the roaring of mighty waters. Nations flee, driven before the storm like thistledown. At evening, all is terror, by morning all is gone. Such is the fate of those who conspire to attack us. Psalm 83, Isaiah 66:15-16 Ref: REB, NIV. Some verses abridged.
My comments;
These Bible verses describe the next prophesied event – how Y’hovah sends His right hand man, Jesus, to ‘ harvest the world of His enemies, those who conspire to attack His people’ This is also the Sixth seal judgement, mentioned and described in over 40 Bible prophecies. This worldwide judgement of fire accurately fits how the earth would be affected by a massive coronal mass ejection. But as Isaiah and many other prophets say, His righteous people will be protected.

The Land, scorched and untrodden

Jeremiah 9:7-10a These are the Words of Y’hovah: I shall refine and test them. How else should I deal with My people? They speak lies and place traps for the unwary. Shall I fail to punish them for this? I will exact vengeance, and on the mountains and pastures there will be weeping and wailing. Jer.3:21, Psalm 30:5
Jeremiah 9:10b-11 The Land is scorched and untrodden, not even birds or beasts remain. Jerusalem and the towns of Judah are ruined and uninhabited. Jer. 12:4
Jeremiah 9:12 Who is wise enough to understand all this? Who has the Lord’s command to explain it? Why has the Land become a dead Land, burned and laid waste? [These are dual prophecys, to be completely fulfilled in the near future]
Jeremiah 9:13-20 It is because they rejected My Law, which I set before them, they neither obeyed Me or kept My Laws. They follow the promptings of their wicked hearts, as their forefathers have taught them. Therefore, I shall make them eat and drink bitterness, I will scatter them among the nations, harass and punish them there. Wail and lament, for you have left your Land and your houses are in ruins. Isaiah 10:23, Isaiah 28:21-22
My comments: The Kingdom of Israel, conquered and exiled in 722BC, then Judah in 585BC and again in 70AD. The exile of the northern 10 tribes still applies, part of the House of Judah have returned to part of the Land, but they do not fully obey Y’hovah, so they and all peoples, remain under the threat of punishment.

Jeremiah 9:21-22 Death has come in the windows and entered our safe places. People in the streets and squares are cut off. Corpses lie everywhere, like swaths behind the reaper, with no one left to gather them. Joel 2:9-11, Jer. 25:33, Jer. 7:32-34
My comments; This is the result of the Great Day of the Lords vengeance and wrath. A massive CME sunstrike will ‘scorch the land ‘ – ‘burned and laid waste’. Underground shelters will be the only protection. This is amazingly prophesied for the Jewish remnant, in Isaiah 29:1-4.....you will speak out of the earth. Their voices will squeak ghostlike from underground.

Jeremiah 9:25-26 The time is coming, says Y’hovah when I shall punish all the circumcised. The Egyptians, the Jewish people, the Edomites, the Jordanians and all who live on the fringes of the desert. For all alike are uncircumcised and even the whole House of Israel is really uncircumcised in heart. Ezekiel 30:1-5
My comments: The prophesy about scattering His people among the nations has been fulfilled and now we await the full and final regathering back into the Promised Land. In order for that to happen, the great clearance and cleansing as prophesied here, and Jeremiah 12:14 will take place. Then the ‘scorched Land ‘ will be regenerated as in;
Ezekiel 36:8-12 But you, Land of Israel, you will grow your fruit trees and crops, for the homecoming of My people is near. I shall settle on you the whole people of Israel. They will be more prosperous that in days of old. Thus you will know that I am the Lord. Jeremiah 29:13-14, Ezekiel 36:36
His righteous people will know Y’hovah by His blessings to them, not by the presence of Jesus, until His Return, to come later. Great are the promises to His people!

Who is wise enough to understand this?

Who is wise enough to understand this.........
Jeremiah 9:12.......and who has God’s command to proclaim it? Isaiah 50:4-7,
John 12:37-41
In these last days of the present era, scripture tells us that the Church will, in general, be compromising and have many different ideas of what the future holds. But there are believers who are willing to listen to teaching based soundly on the Word, as presented to us through the prophets. It will be these believers who will be better prepared to face these end time challenges and afflictions. Especially keep in mind that God’s promises are addressed to the faithful remnant who truly believe and trust in Him and only that remnant will be protected on the Lord’s Day of vengeance and wrath, then later, during the terrible time of Satan’s domination, until the glorious Return of Jesus.
It is sad that many pastors and teachers base their eschatology on traditional doctrines of their denomination or particular theological school, and thereby fail to carefully ascertain what scripture really means. Or when a text does not fit their current beliefs, then they allegorise it, spiritualise it, culturalise it or rationalise it, to fit whatever they think how God should act.

Jeremiah 6:10 To whom shall I speak, to whom give the warning? Who will hear me? This peoples ears are blocked, they are incapable of listening. They treat God’s Word as a reproach and it has no appeal to them. Isaiah 28:9-10
Isaiah 29:9-11 If you confuse yourself, you will stay confused.... for the Lord has poured upon you a spirit of deep stupor.....the prophetic vision of it all has become for you like the words in a sealed book.
1 Corinthians 1:20 Where are the men of learning now? God has made the wisdom of this world look foolish.
Deuteronomy 32:29 If only they had the wisdom to discern this and understand what their end will be.
Matthew 13:10-15 Why do You speak in parables? He replied: To you it has been granted to know the secrets of the Kingdom, but not to them, for they look without seeing and listen without hearing or understanding. Happy are you that see and hear!
Jeremiah 33:3 If you call to Me, I shall answer and tell you of great and mysterious things of which you were unaware.
Isaiah 48:6 You have heard, seen the evidence, now admit the truth. From now on, I will show you new things, hidden things that you did not know before.
Isaiah 35:3-5 Steady yourself, be strong – fear not. Your God comes to save you, with His vengeance and retribution. THEN the eyes of the blind will be opened and the ears of the deaf unstopped. [After the Day of the Lord] Isaiah 32:3-4
Isaiah 42:18-19 You that are deaf; hear now! You that are blind; look and see! Who is so blind and deaf as My servants and messengers, the ones who have My trust.
Isaiah 29:22b-24 This is no time for Jacob to be shamed or frightened, for they will praise Me when they see what I have done for them. The confused will gain understanding and the obstinate will accept instruction. Isaiah 44:8, Isa 45:19

Those who know what is right

Isaiah 51:7-8 Listen to Me, My people, those who know what is right, you that lay My instructions to heart and do not fear the taunts of the enemy. For they will be like a garment eaten by moths, but My saving power will last forever.
[The Lord’s Day of vengeance and wrath will reduce the power of the godless peoples, but not totally destroy them.] Isaiah 51:6

Isaiah 51:9-11 Awake, Awake: arm of the Lord, put on Your strength as You did in days long past. It was You that dried up the sea to make a path for your people. And now, Y’hovah’s people, set free, will come back and enter Zion with shouts of triumph. They will have gladness and joy, while suffering and mourning will pass away.
[This is the second Exodus, His people return to the Land, then cleared and cleansed – great will be the day! Ezekiel 20:33-38]

Isaiah 51:12-16 I am He who comforts you, why then fear man who must die. Why have you forgotten your Maker, the One who makes all things? Do not be in fear of your oppressor, you will soon be set free. I am the Lord, your God, Y’hovah is My Name. I have put words in your mouth and kept you covered under the shelter of My hand. I, the Creator, say to Zion: you are My people.
[Y’hovah will protect His people on that terrible Day – a worldwide judgement of fire, in the form of a massive CME sunstrike – the next prophesied event. Isaiah 30:26-29]

Isaiah 51:17-23 Arouse yourselves, rise up Jerusalem – My people. From the Lord’s hand, you have drunk the cup of His wrath and now there is no one to lead you. The disasters of the sword, famine and desolation have overtaken you, now who can console you? Therefore; listen to this, in your affliction, you that are drunk, but not with wine: Thus says Y’hovah, your God who will plead His peoples cause – I take from your hand My cup of wrath and I shall hand it to your tormentors, those who walked all over you. Ref; REB. some verses abridged

My comments:
This is another clear sequence of events – how The Lord’s day of vengeance and wrath punishes His enemies and then, His righteous people will travel to and settle in the new Land of Beulah. Isaiah 62:1-5, Jeremiah 31
From verse 18, we can see that all this passage from Isaiah 51, is before the Return of Jesus. This will happen later, after His people have come back and are living in the Land in peace and prosperity, as so well described in Ezekiel 36 and Hosea 14.......they will again dwell in My shadow, they will grow and flourish.
‘Listen to Me! Prepare yourselves My people’. You have received all the punishments that I decreed. You are insensible, not with wine, but to the truth of the Word of your God. Amos 8:11-12 Now, I will take out My wrath on our enemies, but I will protect you and set you free. You will go back to all that Land I promised to your forefathers. Jeremiah 46:27, Jeremiah 31:1-14, Zechariah 9:16, Habakkuk 3:13, Joel 3:16, Isa. 27:6

The Land of Beulah

Isaiah 62:1-2a For Zion’s sake, I shall not keep silent – until her victory shines forth, like the sunrise, her victory like a blazing torch. The nations will see your victory and their rulers your glory.
[Isaiah prophesies for the sake of the Land of Israel. There will be a great victory, ‘like a blazing torch’ - a CME sunstrike? over the attacking enemies. Isaiah 66:15-16 The world will see it and be amazed. Jeremiah 33:6-16
Isaiah 62:2b-5 You will receive a new name, the Lord Himself will give it. You will be like a glorious crown in His hand. No more are you forsaken and your Land desolate. You will be called ‘Hephzibah’ and the Land, ‘Beulah’. For Y’hovah will delight in you and it will be like a marriage – He will rejoice over you as a bridegroom over his bride. [Hephzibah = My delight is in her. Beulah = married. Isaiah 49:18
Y’hovah’s people, righteous Israel, gathered and settled into their Land, the Land of Eretz Yísrael, then called Beulah. Wonderful promises to them of fertility and wealth. They will live in justice, peace and security, as He intended people to be. Jeremiah 3:22]
Isaiah 62:6-7 Jerusalem, on your walls, I have posted watchmen, they will call out: You that invoke the Name of the Lord, do not rest and give no rest to the Lord until He makes Jerusalem a praise throughout the world.
[Those who tell about these things are ‘watchmen’ but all Christian believers must not rest or let Y’hovah forget His people and His Land. Keep praying for our redemption and restoration. Ezekiel 36:24-28, Isaiah 52:7-9]
Isaiah 62:8-9 Y’hovah has sworn to never again allow foreigners to take the produce of the Land, but you who give praises to Him will eat the grain and drink the wine, within My sacred courts.
[After the great clearance in the Middle East, only His righteous people will be allowed to live there, those who love the Lord and obey Him. Isaiah 66:20-21, Ezekiel 20:38]
Isaiah 62:10-11 Pass through the gates – clear a road for My people. Build a highway, remove the rocks and make a signal to guide the people. Proclaim to the ends of the earth, say to the offspring of Zion: See your deliverance comes, His reward is with Him and He will make recompense.
[The great gathering of Y’hovah’s people – the second Exodus, will happen in the same manner as the first Exodus. Leaders [shepherds] will arise to guide the flock, in the spirit of Moses and Elijah. Jeremiah 3:14-15, Isaiah 58:11, Isaiah 43:5-7, Micah 4:6, Isaiah 49:9-13, Isaiah 51:3, Zechariah 8:11-12, Isaiah 40:1-5, Ezekiel 11:17

Isaiah 62:12 They will be called ‘The Holy people, the Redeemed of Y’hovah’ and Jerusalem will be called ‘sought after, the City no longer forsaken’.
[Y’hovah’s people, living in the Holy Land of Beulah, as He created them to live, being a ‘light to the nations’ and witnesses to His salvation. They will send out 144,000 missionaries to every people group, to preach the good news of the coming Kingdom of Jesus. Isaiah 66:19, 1 Peter 2:9-10, Acts 2:39, Jeremiah 31:23-34
Joel 2:23-27 People of Zion, rejoice – your God will recompense you for the years that others have ravaged your Land. You will again have plenty in your own Land. Then you will know that I am present in Israel and that I and no other am your God.
[Before the Return of Jesus for His Millennial reign]

Go, My people, withdraw for a little while.........

Isaiah 26:20-21.....until the Lords wrath has passed. The Lord is coming to punish the wicked and apostate peoples of the earth.
Isaiah 27:1 On that Day, the Lord will punish with His powerful sword Leviathan, that twisting serpent.
Isaiah 27:2-5 On that day, sing of the fruitful vineyard – I the Lord am it’s keeper. I tend it constantly, but I get no fruit from it. If only it were briars and thorns, then I would not hesitate to destroy it. But if they [Israel] come to Me for refuge, I will let them make peace with Me.
Isaiah 27:6 In time to come, Jacobs posterity will prosper and Israel will flourish. They will fill the whole earth with fruit.

Isaiah27:7-9 Has the Lord struck Israel, as He has killed their enemies? The atonement for Jacob’s guilt is made by their sojourn in exile. All the idol worshipping altars and sacred poles are destroyed.
Isaiah 27:10 The fortified settlement is abandoned. Animals graze there and the trees are dead, good only for firewood.
Isaiah 27:11 For this is a people without understanding, so their Maker will not show them favour.

Isaiah 27:12 In that day, the Lord will thresh the grain from the Euphrates to the Wadi of Egypt and you, Israelites will be gathered one by one. On that Day, a great trumpet will sound and those who were exiled in Assyria and Egypt will come to worship the Lord in Jerusalem.

Isaiah 30:19-22 People of Zion, weep no more. The Lord will answer you when you call for help. He gives you adversity and affliction now, but your teachers will no longer be hidden from you, you will see them with your own eyes. If you stray from the right path, you will hear a voice behind you saying- ‘this is the Way, follow it’. You will loath your images and will treat your idols [sorcery, false religions, materialism, etc] like filth. [Hosea 14:8 & Ezekiel 11:18]
Isaiah 30:23-24 The Lord will give rain and the Land will produce rich crops. Your livestock will prosper. [Isaiah 41:17-19 & Ezekiel 34:14-16]

Isaiah 30:25-26 On the Day of slaughter, when fortresses fall, streams of water will flow from every hill. The moon will shine like the sun and sunlight will be seven times brighter on the Day the Lord heals the wounds of His people. [Isa 63:4]
Isaiah 30:27-28 See the Lord Himself comes from afar, with anger and wrath, in dense clouds of smoke. His breath is a rushing torrent, He shakes the nations in a sieve of destruction. [Ezekiel 30:2-3 & Habakkuk 3:12]

Isaiah 30:29 But for you there will be songs and gladness of heart as you march to music, on the way to the Mountain of the Lord. [Zech. 10:10-12, Psalm 68:7-12]
Isaiah 30:30-33 Then the Lord will make His voice heard in majesty and reveal His arm descending in fierce anger, with devouring flames, thunder and hail. [Heb 10:27]
For at His voice, Assyria’s strength fails, His punishing Rod strikes them down. A fire pit is prepared by Jerusalem, ready for the Lord to set it ablaze with His breath, like a stream of burning sulphur.

My comments ; Verse 10 is appropriate for our days, as false religions, prosperity theology, etc. are promulgated everywhere.
Verse 19-24 Are for the period after His people, all Israel, are resettled in the Land. They will have God given leaders and teachers to guide them until Jesus Returns.
Verse 25-28 & 30-33 The Lords Day of vengeance, the fire judgement on His enemies – the Day His people are healed and redeemed.
Verse 29 Then they gather into the Promised Land.

Scripture understood literally

Psalm 97:1 Y’hovah reigns, let all the earth rejoice. Righteousness and justice are the foundations of His throne.

Psalm 97:2-5 Cloud and thick mist enfolds Him. Fire goes ahead and consumes His enemies all around. His lightning flashes light up all the world and the earth quakes. Mountains melt like wax at His approach, Y’hovah, the Maker of all things.
Psalm 97:6-7 The heavens proclaim His righteousness and all the peoples look to His glory. Those who worship idols will be shamed – worship Y’hovah, all you gods!
Psalm 97:8-9 Zion hears and rejoices, all the towns of Judah are glad at your judgements. For You, are the Most High over all the earth.
Psalm 97:10-12 Y’hovah loves those who hate evil and He keeps His loyal servants safe. He rescues them from the power of the wicked. Light comes upon His people and joy comes to the upright in heart. Rejoice in your God, all you that are righteous and praise His Holy Name.
My comments;
Psalm 97 is the story in a ‘nutshell’ of what Y’hovah plans to do in the immediate future of our world.
Verse 1 – reminds us of His Kingship and His just rule over His creation.
Verse 2-5 – Describes literally and accurately the next prophesied event, the Lord’s Day of vengeance and wrath. Y’hovah will use a seemingly natural disaster, a massive CME to destroy His enemies, those who are living in the Holy Land and those who conspire to attack the State of Israel. Psalm 83, Micah 4:11-12
Verse 6-7 – Tells how all the false religions and the idols of our modern age, will be put to shame.
Verse 8-9 All of that area, from the Sea, [Mediterranean] to the Great river, [Euphrates – Numbers 34:1-12] will be cleared and cleansed. Isaiah 66:15-16
Verse 10-12 Y’hovah will protect and rescue those ‘who hate evil’ and those ‘who call on His Name’. Joel 2:32 His spirit will be sent upon them. Ezekiel 36:25-28
They will live in all of that Land promised to the Patriarchs, in peace and prosperity. Isaiah 32:15-20, Ezekiel 34:13-16
Jesus is not present, as He will be later for His Millennial reign. This is clear from Ezekiel 34:30 Thus you will know that I, Y’hovah, your God, am with you and that you are My people.

Isaiah 6:11-13 I asked the Lord: How long? [Before the restoration of His people] He answered; Until the Land and cities are ruined and deserted, the houses unoccupied. The Lord will drive the population far away and the country will be one vast desolation. Even though a tenth of the people remain, they too, will be destroyed until only a stump remains, but that will become a holy seed.
The current population of the Holy Land are decimated by the Lord’s Day of vengeance and wrath and of the remainder, only a remnant will survive, to ‘become a holy seed’ of the House of Judah. Their kinsmen; the House of Israel will then join them. Ezekiel 37:20-28 Ref; REB. Some verses abridged. Bruce McKerras October 2011

A prayer for His people

Before the Lord’s day of vengeance and wrath;
Isaiah 64:1-2 Why, Lord, do you not tear asunder the heavens and come down, so that the mountains might shake and fires blaze, so as to make water boil? Then Your Name would be known to your adversaries and the nations would tremble before You. [This is our present situation, asking the Lord to sort out the world’s mess. Note how the CME the Lord will use on that Day, will cause earthquakes, fires and will make any open area of water boil.]

After the Lord’s Day of vengeance and wrath;
Isaiah 64:3 You surprised us with awesome things! The mountains shook when You appeared. [Most people will be surprised and shocked by this terrifying Day of fire judgement and earthquakes. This will be the unexpected event, referred to as ‘coming like a thief’. ]

Isaiah 64:4-7 Never has ear heard, nor eye seen any other god who acts for those who wait for Him. Y’hovah welcomes those who rejoice to do right and are mindful of His Laws. But, because we continued to sin, He was angry. How then, can we be saved? All of us are unclean, like filthy rags. Our iniquities carry us away like the wind. No one calls to You or strives to hold fast to You, for You have hidden Yourself from us and left us in the grip of our sins. Isaiah 8:17, Ezekiel 39:21-24
Isaiah 64:8-9 Yet, Lord, You are our Father, we are the clay, You are the Potter. All of us are Your handiwork. Do not be angry beyond measure, Lord, do not remember iniquity forever. Look upon us, we pray, for we are Your peoplec

Isaiah 64:10-11 Your holy cities are ruined, all of Zion is a desolation. Jerusalem, Your sanctuary, has been burned by fire, all that we treasured has been destroyed. Ezekiel 33:27-29, Zephaniah 1:4-6 [This is the result of the great and terrible Day of the Lord’s vengeance and wrath, well before and quite different from the Day of the glorious Return of Jesus. The burning and destruction of Jerusalem, particularly, has happened twice before, but is prophesied to happen three times, as in Ezekiel 21:1-17.]

Isaiah 64:12 After all this, will You keep silent and punish us beyond measure?

2 Chronicles 6:36-39 Should Your people sin against You, (and who is free from sin?) and should You in Your anger, give them over to enemies, who exile them to lands far and near, then if they have a change of heart and turn to You, saying: We have sinned and then, in the land of their exile, they pray wholeheartedly to their God, looking toward the Land which You gave to their forefathers, then from heaven – hear their supplications and maintain their cause. Forgive Your people their sins against You, let Your priests be clothed with salvation and Your loyal servants rejoice in prosperity.

Listen, you nations.

Isaiah 34:1 Approach, you nations and listen – attend you peoples. Let the earth listen, all the world and all that is in it.
Isaiah 34:2-3 For the Lords anger is against all the nations and His wrath upon all their armies. He has given them over to slaughter and destruction. [Joel 2:1-11]
Their slain will be flung out and their blood will cover the ground. Their dead bodies will stink. Jeremiah 25:33
Isaiah 34:4-5 All the host of heaven will fade away. The sky will roll up as a scroll.
For My sword appears in heaven and descends in judgement on Edom – on a people whom I have doomed for destruction. Jeremiah 49:7-22

Isaiah 34:6-7 The Lord has a sword covered in blood – the blood of lambs and goats.
For the Lord has a sacrifice in Bozrah and a great slaughter in Edom.
Their land will drink deep of their blood and be enriched by their fat.
Isaiah 34:8 For the Lord has a Day of vengeance, a time for retribution, to uphold Zion’s cause.
Isaiah 34:9-17 Edom’s rivers will be turned into pitch and it’s soil into brimstone. Smoke from it will rise forever, no one will ever again pass through it. The owl and raven will make it their home. All wild birds and beasts will have their place in that land.
Reference, Revised English Bible, some verses abridged.
My comments;
From verse 4, we get the clue that this terrible Day of the Lords judgement is also the sixth seal – Rev 6:12-17 .....There was a violent earthquake; the sun turned black and the
moon red as blood, stars fell to the earth, the sky vanished like a scroll being rolled up.
The kings of the earth, the rich and powerful, and all men hid themselves in caves and under rocks: they called out for the earth to hide them from the One who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb. For the great Day of their vengeance has come and who can stand? Isaiah 2:12-21 & Isaiah 63:1-6... judgement on Edom and Bozrah.
Edom= the ungodly nations.”A people doomed for destruction”. Bozrah= the sheepfold, must be cleansed to be the place of safety, to which the elect will be taken, during the Tribulation. A place “at the end of the earth” a place as far as possible from Israel.

Continuing on, in Rev 7:1-8 After that......Do not damage anything further until we have set the seal of God upon His servants.
These are the 144,000 from all the 12 tribes of Israel. Isaiah 66:19. They go out in pairs to spread the good news of the coming Kingdom of God. So, righteous Israel must regather into the Land after it is cleansed, in order for this to happen.
Then in Rev 7:9-17 [says again] After that....... describing the Millennial glories and blessings.
Isaiah 30:26 describes the sun being 7 times brighter, this passage in Isa 34 and Rev 6 describe the results of this event- fires and ‘smoke rising forever’.
This description of “the sky rolled up like a scroll “ may be what would happen if a coronal mass ejection was fired from the sun, by a giant sunspot. It would cause terrible loss of life and destruction worldwide. Malachi 4:1

Many have been created;

Many have been created, but only a few will be saved

2 Esdras 7:45-56 Therefore, on the Day of judgement, there can be no mercy for those who have lost their case and no reversal for those who have won. Ezra replied: But Lord, how much better it would be if Adam had been restrained from sinning. O Adam; what have you done? What good is the hope of eternity, in the wretched and futile state to which we have become?
You say that Y’hovah will save those who lead pure lives, but what of the many who fail to attain that standard and give no thought to what is in store after death.
2 Esdras 7:57-61 This is the thought for every person to keep in mind during the battle of life: Moses, in his time said to the people: “Choose life, that you may live”. But they believed neither him, or the prophets sent after him.
There will be no sorrow over their damnation, but there will be joy for the salvation of those who have believed and obeyed Y’hovah’s commands.
2 Esdras 7:62-70 I know that Y’hovah is merciful and compassionate. Without His forgiveness, there could be no hope for this worlds inhabitants. He is our Judge and unless He blots out our countless offences, there would be very few who could be spared. The angel replied: Y’hovah has made this world for many, the next world for but a few. It is the same with the earth, plenty of clay, not much gold – many have been created, but only a few will be saved. Romans 9:22-23
2 Esdras 8:19-39 This is the prayer offered by Ezra, before being taken up to heaven: O Lord, You inhabit eternity, everything belongs to You.....We and our fathers have lived evil lives, yet it is on account of us sinners that You are called merciful. What is man, that You should be angry with him? The truth is, no one who was ever born is entirely innocent of sin. Y’hovah will have joy in the salvation of those who trust Him
2 Esdras 8:59-62 Yours, then will be the joys I have predicted.
It is not that the Most High has wanted any person to be destroyed, but those He created, brought dishonour onto their Creators Name and show ingratitude to the One who put life within their reach. That is why My judgement is now close at hand. I have not made this known to all, only to you and a few like you.

2 Esdras 9:1-6 My Lord, tell me when the last days will be.
Watch carefully, you will see that some of the signs predicted have already passed, then you will understand that the time is near for Y’hovah to begin to judge the world that He has created. When the world becomes the scene of earthquakes, insurrections, plots among the nations, unstable governments and panic among rulers, then the end of the age, as prophesied, draws near. The times that Y’hovah has determined; the beginning is marked by portents and miracles, the end by manifestations of power.
2 Esdras 9:7-8 All who come safely through and escape destruction, thanks to their good deeds and faith they have shown, will survive the dangers I have fortold and witness the salvation I shall bring to My Land, the territory I have set apart from all eternity as My own. The just will be saved, the world is theirs and for their sake it exists. Reference: REB Apocrypha. Verses abridged

Rebuilding the Temple

The prophetic Scriptures clearly predict that the Third Temple will be built and the sacrifices reinstated, in the final years leading up to the Return of the Messiah. It is clear, too, that there will be more than just the Jewish people living in the Land of Greater Israel. All the Israelites from all 12 tribes of Israel, will migrate to New Israel soon after the Lord’s Day of vengeance and wrath, the terrible Day of fire and storms, that will clear and cleanse most of the Middle East.
The place of the new Temple, will be to the North of the existing Dome of the Rock, because this is in the direct line of the now sealed Eastern gate. The Bible, the Torah, and Josephus, all agree that the Temple was in that location. The Temple Institute, in Jerusalem, has made most of the utensils for the Temple worship, including the robes and breastplate for the High Priest. The instruments such as the silver trumpets are ready and musicians are trained for their use.

The Jewish sage, Moses Maimonides, known as Rambam, declared that the Temple will be rebuilt and the exiles from around the world gathered back into the Promised Land.
The Messiah will appear and re-establish the glory of King David.
In the Talmud Yerushalmi, Rabbi Acha says; The Beit Hamikdash [Holy Temple] will be built first, before the advent of the Kingdom of David.
The Pnei Moshe states; The Land will be settled first, then the people will become prosperous, after that they will build the Temple and finally, the Messiah will come.
In the Mar’eh Punim the Gaon Moshe Margolis wrote that when Jacob predicted the future of Judah, he foretold that the Temple would be rebuilt first, then the Messiah would come.

The whole scenario of the end times, has a logical sequence to it. At last, now in 2011, we can see how things are happening that will see a confederation of Islamic states and entities that will be motivated to get rid of the ‘ cancer ‘ in their midst, that is the State of Israel. The moment of their attack, is the moment that God will intervene. This great Day of the Lord, will take the form of a natural event – a coronal mass ejection, a massive sunstrike of cosmic particles, causing intense heat and electrical storms. The attacking armies will be destroyed by their own weaponry, as they all explode before firing. This literally fulfils the prayer in Psalm 83:13-18
Many prophesies speak of the regeneration of the Land of Greater Israel, “in a very short while” [Isaiah 29:17] after this great clearance and cleansing of the entire area. Righteous Israel- “those who love the Lord and follow in His ways” will then gather “on the mountains of Samaria”. This is described very well in Ezekiel 20:34-38.
Over 40 prophesies describe how all the Israelites will live in peace and security in their own Land. At last, they will be as God originally intended, “a light to the nations”, they will “exemplify My Holiness for all to see”. Ezekiel 39:27-29 [The attack by Gog/ Magog will come during this period]
They will build the Third Temple, and “the splendour of this latter House will surpass that of the former”. Haggai 2:9 Zechariah 8:9-13 has wonderful promises of restoration and redemption; Courage! Do not lose heart!

Our test of faith

Ezekiel 39:21-24 I shall display My glory among the nations, all will see the judgement that I execute [upon Gog and his army] From that day forward the Israelites will know that I am Y’hovah, their God, and the nations will know that the Israelites went into exile because of their sins. I hid My face from them, their enemies were able to kill and enslave them as My punishment.
Ezekiel 39:25-27 Y’hovah says: Now I shall restore the fortunes of Jacob [the 12 tribes of Israel] and show them My compassion for the sake of My holy Name.
They will forget their shame and unfaithfulness to Me, when they live once more in their homeland, undisturbed and free from terror. When I bring them back from where they are now scattered around the world, I shall show Myself holy through them for many nations to see.
Ezekiel 39:28-29 They will know that I am the Lord, their Y’hovah, because having sent them into exile, I bring them together again in their homeland and leave none behind No longer shall I hide My face from them, I, who have poured out My spirit upon them.

This Scripture passage is most interesting – it is only from the day that God destroys Gog and his army, that the Israelites are fully aware of their redeemer and protector. All 12 tribes of Israel regather and settle in New Israel after this next event in the Middle East- the Lord’s Day of vengeance and wrath, which depopulates the entire area, except for a remnant of Jews left in Jerusalem. This is clear from what it says in-
Ezekiel 38:8 [Gog will] ...invade a land that has recovered from war, where the Israelites, brought out from many nations are now living in safety and undisturbed.
[the KJV says.......a land brought back from the sword ]
Ezekiel 38:10-12 You will say: I will invade a rich land, of peaceful and unsuspecting people, without any defences. I will plunder and loot the settlements, which were ruined, now rebuilt. Its people, now gathered from around the world are rich in livestock and goods and making their home in the very centre of the world.

Ezekiel 39:27 ....”I will show Myself holy through them”.
This verse proves that Jesus has not yet returned in His glory, for all the world to see.
Y’hovah’s people, righteous Israel, are motivated to emigrate to Beulah [Isaiah 62:4] after the Land of Greater Israel is cleared and cleansed, then regenerated. Ezekiel 36:30
But because they will not necessarily see the Hand of God in this move, it is a test of faith for them.
Elijah will be their guide and he “will reconcile the families [Judah and Israel] to avoid “the Lord striking the Land with a curse”. Malachi 4:6 Ref: REB, NIV verses abridged

These are the End Times

It is amazing to think that we are now, at the very edge of the end of this age. Soon we will experience the fulfilment of many prophesies. The ancient prophets spoke of how all the Israelites will be brought back into their own Land. Ezekiel 37:21 ...I will take the Israelites out of the nations where they have gone. I will gather them from all around and bring them back into their own Land.
This Second Exodus began in 1948, with the return of part of the Southern Kingdom of Judah into part of the Land. Now we are seeing the world turning against the State of Israel and the emergence of an Islamic confederation, that is already preparing for an attack to: “erase all remembrance of them”. Then the Lord will act once again in His creation, to fulfil the rest of Psalm 83, Habakkuk 3:12-14, Revelation 6:12-17 and many other Bible passages. This clearance of the “evil neighbours” as described in Jeremiah 12:14-17, will allow the rest of the 12 tribes of Israel to join their kinsmen in the Land.

When will this happen? Just this question causes some Christians to quickly say; But of that Day and hour no man knows.” Those who seek clues from the Word are often criticized and told to focus on evangelism, and not to be concerned when the Lord will Return. This shows their lack of Bible knowledge, as the actual Return will be known to the day, when certain events take place preceding it. It is the Great Day of the Lord’s vengeance and wrath, that will take the world unawares. The doubters may mention the verses that say this event will come “as a thief” . Again, those people do not read scripture carefully, as Paul says; “But you, my friends, are not in the dark, that this Day should surprise you”. Jesus exhorted; Revelation 3:3b If you do not wake up, I will come upon you like a thief... Jesus rebuked: Matthew 16:3 You hypocrites, you can interpret the sky, but you cannot interpret the signs of your times. Jesus will judge: Luke 3:16-17....He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire. His winnowing fork in His hand, to clear His threshing floor and gather the wheat, but the chaff, He will burn up. Jesus promised: Luke 21:28 When all these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near. John 15:15-17 I no longer call you servants, now I call you My friends, I have made known all that I have learned from My Father. You did not choose Me, but I chose you, that you would bear fruit. Then the Father will give you whatever you ask in My Name. This is My command; love one another.
There are many precedents for God revealing specific times in advance.
1/ He gave Noah the exact amount of time to build and load the ark, before the Flood.
2/ He told Abraham that the Israelites would be in Egypt for 400 years.
3/ He revealed the exact day of Elijah’s rapture.
4/ Jeremiah prophesied the 70 year time for the Babylonian exile.
5/ Daniel told exactly when the Messiah would come the first time.
6/ Now, Ezekiel 4:4-6, with the multiples as given in Leviticus 26, gives us the dates for the events of our time.
To leave us without clues now would be contrary to God’s established pattern. Obviously we are not “in the dark “, there are many signs. Let us be watchful, doing our Masters work and ready to heed His call to receive our inheritance.

Let us rejoice in His deliverance

Isaiah 24:18b-23 The windows of the sky above are opened and earth’s foundations shake, it is convulsed and reels wildly. The earth lurches like a drunkard because the sins of its inhabitants weigh heavily upon it.
On that Day Y’hovah will punish in heaven the host of heaven and on earth, the rulers of the earth. They are put in a prison, punished over many years.
The moon will grow pale and the sun will hide its face in shame, for Y’hovah reigns on Mount Zion, in Jerusalem. He is revealed in His glory to the elders of His people.
My comments;
He is not revealed to all the world, as yet, so this must be before the Return.
This passage describes the Lord’s Day of vengeance and wrath. On that Day – the rulers and the sinners on earth will be punished. The sun and moon are darkened because of fires and volcanic eruptions caused by a CME sunstrike, that will affect the whole world. But note that in Isaiah 30:26, it is the Day that He saves His people, now we see that He reveals His glory to the leaders of Righteous Israel, who gather into the Land soon after this judgement.

Isaiah 25:1-5 Y‘hovah, you are my God, I shall praise Your Name, for You have done great things, long planned and sure. You have turned cities into heaps of ruin and made destruction over the land. For this many a cruel nation now treat You with awe. You have subdued the ruthless enemy, their war cries die away.
Truly You have been a refuge for the poor and needy in their distress, their shelter from the tempest and shade from the heat.
My comments: This next prophesied event: the Lord’s Day of vengeance and wrath, will not destroy all of His enemies and sinners, but they will know that punishment has come upon them for their misdeeds. The poor and needy, is a metaphor for His people, Righteous Israel, until they are brought back and settled into Greater Israel. They are promised protection from the heat flash and storms of this CME that Y’hovah will use to punish His enemies.

Isaiah 25:9 On that Day, the people will say: See – this is our God, we have waited for Him and He will deliver us. This is the God for whom we have waited, let us rejoice and exult in His deliverance.

Deuteronomy 32:43 Rejoice with Him, you heavens, all bow down before Y’hovah. For He will avenge the blood of His people and take vengeance on is enemies. He will punish those who hate Him and cleanse His peoples Land.

Know and understand this

Daniel 9:24 Seventy sevens are decreed for your people and your holy city – to finish transgression, to put an end to sin, to atone for wickedness, to bring in everlasting righteousness, vision and prophecy ratified and the Most Holy place anointed.
Daniel 9:25-27 Know and understand this: From the issuing of the decree to restore and rebuild Jerusalem, until the Anointed One, the ruler comes – there will be seven sevens and sixty two sevens. It will be rebuilt with streets and drains, but in troubled times. After the 62 sevens, the Anointed One will be cut off and will have nothing. The people of the ruler who will come, will destroy the city and sanctuary. The end will come like a flood. War will continue until the end, and desolations have been decreed. He will confirm a covenant with the many for one ‘seven’. In the middle of the seven, he will put an end to the sacrifice and offering. In the Temple, he will set up an abomination that causes desolation, until the end that is decreed is poured out upon him.
Reference REB, NIV, KJV.

My comments: Verse 24 - The Angel Gabriel’s message for the end of this age:
1/To complete and finalize the transgressions of the wicked peoples.[Time of the Gentiles]
2/ To make an end to disobedience against God. [Punishment of His enemies]
3/ To make reconciliation for iniquity. [Forgiveness for His people]
4/ To usher in the age of Righteousness. [The Israelites – ‘a light to the nations’]
5/ To fulfil prophesy. [The promises to the Patriarchs and to Israel]
6/ To sanctify the Temple. [The Third Temple, built by the people of New Israel]
Verse 25: 70 times 7 = 490 prophetic years of 360 days. The first 7 ‘weeks’ = 49 years, starts from the commandment to rebuild Jerusalem in the 20th year of the reign of Artaxerxes. This was in 445BC. Jerusalem’s walls, streets, etc were built ‘even in troublous times’, in approx. 48/49 years.
Verse 26 Then another 62 ‘weeks’ = 434 years, plus the 49, makes a total of 483 prophetic years until ‘Messiah, the Prince, is cut off’. Careful calculation of 360 day years, multiplied by 483, brings the date to 32/33AD, the date of the Crucifixion.
‘There shall be nothing for Him’, means that at that time He did not receive the Millennium Kingdom. ‘The people of the ruler to come, will destroy Jerusalem, including the Temple’, refers to the Roman destruction in 69/70AD. This gives us the clue to the origin of the Anti Christ, who will lead a restored Roman Empire.
Then, there has been a gap of nearly 2000 years, till the present day.
The end period; the 70th of the 7 ‘weeks’ = 7 years will be made up of 2 periods of 1260 days each. It will be the closing time of this age, ‘the end shall be with a flood’. Flood is better translated as – overflowing. 2 Thessalonians 2:8
Verse 27 The Anti Christ will make a 7 year treaty with the ‘many’. That is, the people of Israel, all 12 tribes, living in their own Land. There will be a faithful remnant who will oppose this agreement, so this treaty is made with many, but not all of His people, Israel. Daniel 11:32, Isaiah 28:15. The Anti Christ will break this after 1260 days, which will commence the Great Tribulation. He sets up his own image in the Temple, then after the final 1260 days, he will meet his end. Daniel 11:45, Revelation 19:20.

Long have I restrained Myself:

Long have I restrained Myself..........
Isaiah 42:14-15.......I kept silence and held Myself in check. I shall lay waste to mountain and hill, dry up the trees and fields. I shall dry up the rivers and empty the lakes.
Y’hovah is about to act once again in His creation – The Lord’s day of vengeance and wrath - the next prophesied, worldwide event. The first of a series of judgements and punishments to His enemies and blessings to His Righteous people, Isaiah 44:1-3 - leading to the culmination of this age – the Return of Jesus.
Isaiah 42:13 Y’hovah will go forth as a warrior; He will shout His battle cry and will triumph over His enemies.

Isaiah 42:16-17 I will guide the blind along unfamiliar paths and will make the way smooth for them. But those who do not trust Me, they will be put to shame.
This is the regathering and settling of His people into the Land of New Israel.
Isaiah 42:10-12 Sing a new song to the Lord – throughout the world, you on the seas and you that inhabit the coasts and islands. Let all people give glory to Y’hovah!

Isaiah42:18-20 Hear now: you deaf people, you My servants that are blind: look and see! Who is so blind as My servants? So deaf as the messengers that I send? You have seen much, but perceived little. Your ears are open but you hear nothing.
Y’hovah’s servants – those who love Him and obey His Laws, fail to see or listen to the truths that are prophesied about these end times. Why is this?
Isaiah 29:9-12 If you confuse yourselves, you will stay confused. For the Lord has poured on you a spirit of deep stupor, the prophetic vision of it all has become like the words in a sealed book.
How can we really understand what the prophets are telling us?
2 Peter 1:19 We have the word of the prophets, you do well to pay attention to it, as a light shining in a dark place and when the day dawns, it will illuminate your minds.
Isaiah 29:22-24 This is no time for Jacob [Righteous Israel] to be afraid, when they see what I will do for them, they will regard their God with awe. The confused will gain understanding and the obstinate will accept instruction.
So, it may not be until after Y’hovah has acted against His enemies, that His people will finally realize and understand His plans and purposes for them. Psalm 60:1-5

Zechariah 10:6-12 I shall give triumph and victory to Judah and Joseph and in My compassion, I shall restore them as though I had never cast them off. My people will see and be glad, for I will deliver them. I will whistle to call them in and they will be as many as they used to be. Though dispersed among the nations and yet in far off lands, they will remember Me. I shall bring them home from wherever they are and will lead them into Greater Israel, until there is no more room. Israel’s strength will be in Y’hovah, they will march proudly in His name. Ref: REB, some verses abridged
Y’hovah’s righteous people, gathered and restored back into their own Land, after He judges and punishes His enemies. Jeremiah 12:14-17, Ezekiel 20:34-38, Isaiah 11:11-12
Unfortunately these events will come as a surprise to the secular world and to many Bible believers. Why should you be shocked and taken unawares by them?

LOGOS TELOS - The Word About the End Times

Hi folks,
My book - a study guide on Bible prophecy and related subjects, is now available for FREE at - www.logostelos.info

God will judge mankind - then His people are redeemed

Nahum 1:1-3 The Lord is a jealous and avenging God, slow to anger and of great power. He will not let the guilty go unpunished.
Isaiah 5:16 The Lord is exalted by judgement and by righteousness.
Exodus 34:7 The Lord does not leave the guilty unpunished.
Hebrews 10:26-27 For if we deliberately persist in sin after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there can be no further expiation for our sins, only a terrifying expectation of judgement in a fierce fire which will consume God’s enemies.
Isaiah 26:21 The Lord is coming from His dwelling place to punish the people of the earth for their sins. The sins of the guilty will be revealed.
Psalm 21:8-9 Your hand will reach all your enemies, fire will totally consume them.
Psalm 110:5-6 The Lord crushes kings on the Day of His wrath. He judges the nations.
Habakkuk 3:12 Furiously, You traverse the earth and trample the nations.
Isaiah 63:1-6 Who is this coming in His strength, from Edom, Bozrah, with his garments stained red? I trampled the nations in My anger, for the Day of vengeance and the year for redeeming My own had come. [Then, much later, in Rev 19:13 Jesus Returns, wearing blood stained garments]
Ezekiel 7:2-4 The end is coming to all the earth, I shall unleash My anger upon the Land of Israel. I shall neither pity nor spare you, I shall make you suffer for your conduct. Doom is upon you – the Day is near, a Day of panic and you will know that the Lord struck you. [the current inhabitants of Israel are judged. Jer. 14:12]
Isaiah 30: 26-28 On the Day the Lord saves His righteous people, the sun will shine 7 times brighter and the moon will be as bright as the sun. The Lord comes from afar, with burning anger and dense smoke. His breath is a consuming fire. He shakes the nations in a sieve of destruction. He places a bit into the mouths of the peoples.
Isaiah 30: 30-33 Then, the Lord will make His voice heard in majesty and reveal His arm descending in fierce anger with devouring fire and tempests of hail. Assyria will be punished [Isa 31:8] The Lord will set ablaze a fire pit in Topeth. [near Jerusalem]

Isaiah 30:29 But for you there will be songs, as on a feast day. Your hearts will rejoice, as you go up with music to the Mountain of the Lord, to the Rock of Israel.
Isaiah 29:17-20 In a very short time Lebanon [Eretz Israel] will return to garden land On that Day, the deaf will hear and the blind will see. The lowly and poor will rejoice and exult in the Holy One of Israel, but the sinners and arrogant will cease to exist.
Isaiah 29:22-24 Y’hovah says: This is no time for Jacob to be shamed or frightened, for his descendants will hallow My Name when they see what I have done, the work of My hand. They will regard God with awe and worship the Holy One of Israel.
Then the confused will gain understanding and the obstinate will accept instruction. Ref: REB, NIV, KJV. Some verses abridged.
My comments; These Bible passages, describing Y’hovah’s judgement of fire on His enemies, are paralleled by Rev 6:12-17 – the sixth seal event. THEN: “in a very short time”, for His righteous people, there will be rejoicing as they gather and settle in the Promised Land. Isaiah 30:15 In calm detachment lies your safety, your strength in trust.
There is no indication that any of these events occur at the time of the Return of Jesus in His glory. Therefore it all happens before then.

Escape all these things?

KJV Luke 21:34-36 Take heed, yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with the surfeit and cares of this life, so that the Day comes upon you unawares. For as a snare, it will come on all those that dwell on the face of the whole earth. Watch, ye, therefore and pray always that you may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass and so stand before the Son of Man.
NIV Be careful or your hearts will be weighed down with dissipation and the anxieties and that Day will close on you unexpectedly, like a trap. For it will come upon all those who live on the face of the whole earth. Be always on the watch and pray that you may be able to escape all that is about to happen and that you may be able to stand before the Son of Man.
NET Be on your guard, so that your hearts are not weighed down with dissipation and the worries of this life and that Day close down on you like a trap. For it will overtake all who live on the face of the earth. But stay alert at all times, praying that you may have the strength to escape all these things that must happen and to stand before the Son of Man.
REB Be on your guard, do not let your minds be dulled by dissipation and worldly cares, so that the great Day catches you suddenly, like a trap. For that Day will come upon everyone, the whole world over. Be on the alert, praying at all times for the strength to pass through all that is coming and to stand in the presence of the Son of Man.

My comments: This interesting Bible passage requires careful examination. It is obvious that it refers to the great Day of the Lord’s vengeance and wrath – the next prophesied event, then eventually, how we will stand in the Presence of Jesus.
We are informed that ALL who live on the earth will experience this coming Day. Only those who are ‘accounted worthy’ or ‘have the strength’, will ‘pass (safely) through’ or ‘escape all these things’, ‘that shall come to pass’ or ‘that must happen’.
So, this great Day of vengeance and wrath, will happen and judging by the current world situation, especially in the Middle East, that may be quite soon.
This Day ‘will come upon everyone on earth’, so it is incorrect to say that it is possible to ‘escape all these things’. We will not be ‘raptured’, or taken to a ‘place of safety’ on that Day. We are told to pray for strength and stay alert during this terrifying time. Before it happens, in the short time that we have left of the present dispensation, we ‘must not let worldly cares weigh us down’, so that the Day does not catch us without fore warning and unprepared. If you know what is coming, you are not shocked and terrified, you make preparations, you stay calm, trusting in God to keep you safe.
To recap: many prophesies speak of this great and terrible Day of the Lord’s vengeance and wrath, which will come suddenly and unexpectedly upon the whole world. What best fits the descriptions?
Nuclear explosions? No, because even a large bomb only destroys up to a certain radius.
Comet strike? Possible, as that would cause worldwide effects. This will happen during the Tribulation period. Revelation 8:8-11.
Coronal mass ejection? Yes, a massive CME fits all the prophecies and does not leave radiation.
Isaiah 30:26a....the sun will shine with seven times its usual brightness.....
No other explanation that a CME can be inferred from that prophecy. But then;
Isaiah 30:26b... on the Day Y’hovah heals His people....
The promise is given that on this Day, Y’hovah will save and protect His righteous people.
Joel 3:16 The Lord roars from Zion and thunders from Jerusalem, so that the heaven and the earth shudder, but He is a refuge for His people, a defence for Israel.
Read Psalm 107 for encouragement.

I did not speak in secret

I did not speak in secret ........

Isaiah 45:19..........., in realms of darkness. I did not say to Jacobs people; Look for Me in the formless waste. I, Y’hovah, declares what is right and just.
Isaiah 45:22-25 From every corner of the earth, turn to Me and be saved. For I am God, there is none other. I swear by My life that to Me, every knee will bow and every tongue will say; In Y’hovah alone is victory and might. All who defy Him will stand ashamed in His presence. The descendants of Israel will be victorious and will glory in their God.

Isaiah 46:3-4 Listen to Me, house of Jacob, all who remain of the House of Israel; You have been a load upon Me from your birth. Till you grow old, I am Y’hovah, when white hair comes, I shall carry you still – I have made you and will uphold you, I shall carry you away to safety.

Isaiah 46:8-10 Remember this and abandon hope, all you rebels. I am Y’hovah, I will accomplish all I please.
From the beginning, I reveal the end, from ancient times, what is yet to be.

Isaiah 46:12-13 Listen to Me, you stubborn of heart, for whom victory is far off; I bring My victory near, it is not far off and will not be delayed. In Zion, I will grant deliverance for Israel, My glory.

My comments and matching verses;
His people, righteous Israel, still living in every corner of the earth, can seek and find Y’hovah for their redemption. Through Him, they will gain victory.
Y’hovah will uphold them and will plant them in a safe place. 2 Samuel 7:10 He promises protection for His people when they regather into Israel, one example of this is the destruction of Gog’s army.
This is not a ‘rapture ‘, firstly His people, righteous Israel will gather and settle in all of the land promised to their forefathers. Then, during the Tribulation, Y’hovah’s elect ones will be taken out of the way of the Anti Christ, to a far distant location on earth.
Take heed, all you people, the time for Y’hovah to act is near. In Zion, [Greater Israel] there will be deliverance for Israel, they will display His glory. [before the Return of Jesus] Ezekiel 39:27, Isaiah 43:10-13, 1 Peter 2:9.
Scripture does reveal to us “ what is yet to be” – it requires diligent study and careful discernment of the prophetic Word. Amos 3:7, 1 Thessalonians 5:4-6, Daniel 12:10.

From every nation, they will come

Isaiah, the prophet, commissioned by God, to restore the survivors of Israel. Isaiah 49:5-6.

Isaiah 66:15-16 See: the Lord is coming in fire, His chariots are like a whirlwind, bringing retribution with His furious anger and His rebuke with flaming fire. The Lord will judge with fire and sword, He will test all mankind and many will be killed by Him.
[The Lord’s Day of vengeance and wrath – the next prophetic event. This fire judgement upon all the earth, will be by a coronal mass ejection from the sun. It will affect all the earth, but will particularly devastate the Middle East. Isaiah 63:1-6, Rev. 6:12-17, Jeremiah 12:14, Psalm 18:7-15, Isaiah 24:1-6, Malachi 4:1]
Isaiah 66:17:18a All those who practice magic rites and divination, those who eat unclean foods – all will meet their end, for I know their thoughts and deeds.
[Witchcraft, occultism, false religion, disobedience to God’s Laws, etc., all who do these things will die. Isaiah 48:22, Jeremiah 30:23-24, Revelation 22:15. Micah 5:12
Isaiah 66:18b-19 I am going to gather people of every tongue, they will come to see My glory. I shall put a sign on them and some of these survivors I will send out to the nations, to proclaim My Gospel among them. They will go to distant places that have not heard of My glory. [ Irrefutable proof that this happens before the Return.
Y’hovah’s people, righteous Israel, are gathered from all parts of the earth. 12,000 are selected from each of the 12 tribes and sent out to proclaim the good news of the coming Kingdom of God. Revelation 7:3-8 & 14:1-7, Isaiah 49:6.]
Isaiah 66:20-21 From every nation, your countrymen will be brought, on every kind of conveyance, coming as an offering to the Lord on His holy mountain. They will come to Jerusalem, just as the ancient Israelites brought their grain offerings. The Lord will select some of them to be His priests.
[Soon after the Lord’s Day of vengeance, all the Israelite peoples, including those who have lost their Israelite identity, will be motivated to emigrate to New Israel. Ezekiel 36:10-12, Ezekiel 39:25-29, Isaiah 11:11-12, Jeremiah 30:10-14. They will live there in great prosperity and peace for several years, until the Anti Christ comes to power. He will break his treaty of peace with Israel and take control of the country, placing his image in the Temple. This will start the 3½ year Tribulation period. An ‘elect’ group will be taken to a place of safety during this time. Zechariah 14:2b, Revelation 12:14. Then Jesus Christ will Return in His glory to reign for 1000 years. ]

Isaiah 66:22-23 As the new heavens and earth, which I am making will endure before Me, so will your name and descendants endure. Every new moon and Sabbath, all mankind will come to bow before Me.
[This will happen after the Millennium. Isaiah 54:9-10, Revelation 21:1-4.
Isaiah 66:24 As they go out, they will see the bodies of those who rebelled against Me, where the devouring worm never dies and the fire is not quenched. All mankind will view them with horror. Zechariah 14:12. Ref: REB, NIV. Verses abridged.

Like the dawn, it covers the earth

Joel 1:15 The day is near, the day of the Lord it comes as a mighty destruction from Almighty God.
Joel 2:1-5 Blow the trumpet in Israel, sound the alarm in Jerusalem. Let all who live in the Land tremble, for the day of the Lord is coming – it is close at hand. A Day of darkness and clouds. Like the dawn, an innumerable host comes across the land, such as never was and will never be again. A fire goes before them, leaving wasteland behind. With a great noise they leap mountains and consume things to stubble.
Joel 2:6-11 At the sight of them, all the nations are in anguish. They march in line, none swerving against any defence. They rush upon cities and enter houses through the windows. The earth quakes and the sky is darkened. Y’hovah thunders at the head of His army, beyond number are those who obey His command. The Day of the Lord is great and dreadful, who can endure it?
Joel 1:6-12 & 19-20 this invading host destroys trees and crops. Fire has burnt the pastures and trees. All the streams have dried up.

My comments: The Day of the Lord, as described by Joel is not the judgement at the Return of Jesus or the Great White Throne judgement. It is, therefore an event before then, also prophesied in Isa. 2:12-21, Rev. 6:12-17, Ezekiel 7:2-9 and elsewhere.
Joel uses the metaphor of an army to describe how this destruction moves across the earth as it rotates- ‘like the dawn’. As countries turn to face the sun, the effects of a coronal mass ejection- sunspot will hit them. Initially, it will strike the earth as a light flash [Isa 30:26a] within 8 minutes, then the highly charged cosmic particles arrive 40 to 60 hours later, causing immense destruction and deaths. Fires and volcanic eruptions will result in smoke and ash clouds, covering the sky. Isaiah 29:5-6, Psalm 18:7-15.
Judah [the current State of Israel] is affected- Hosea 8:14, Eze. 20:45-48, Isa 4:3-4.
Then - Y’hovah’s enemies: Isa 22:5-14, Psalm 83:14-18, Isa 63:1-6 and many others.
Deuteronomy 32:34-35 says how He will act when His enemies ‘foot will slip”. That is they make a mistake. That mistake will be their instigating an attack against Israel.

Malachi 4:1-2 Surely the day of the Lord is coming, it will burn like a furnace. All the evildoers will be as stubble, they will be burned up. But for you, who revere My Name, righteousness will rise with healing in its wings. You will rejoice and prevail over the wicked on the day that I act against them. Isaiah 26:11 & 20-21.

THEN the many prophecies that describe the return of all Israel into the Promised Land will come to pass. This second exodus of His people will fulfil the promises that God made to the Patriarchs and they will, at last be a people that will be a ‘light to the nations’. They will prepare themselves and the world for the Return of Jesus. Eze 35:11-30, Eze 36:8-12, Deut 30:1-10, Zech 10:6-12, Isa 46:27-28, Eze 39:25-29, Zeph 10:6-12

That Jesus is not yet present at this time, is clear from the many verses saying: ‘You will know that I am the Lord, when... And how it ‘will be as in the days of Egypt’.
Eze. 14:6-11, Eze 39:22, Joel 2:27, Isa 41:20. Reference: REB, NIV. Some verses abridged

The Lord says: here I am!

Ezekiel 7:2-9 The Lord God says to the Land of Israel; The end is coming, it will affect all the earth. First, I shall unleash My anger upon you. I shall call you to account for all your sins and abominations that are in your midst. I will not pity nor spare you. Disasters are coming, one after the other, doom is upon you, dweller in the Land - the Day is near – a Day of panic and you will know that it is I, the Lord who has struck you. Isa 63:1-6, Isa 66:15-16, Psalm 50:3, Malachi 4:1, Hebrews 10:27, Joel 2:1-5.
Ezekiel 14:21-23 There is no hope for Jerusalem when I inflict My four punishments upon her, yet some survivors will be left in her- both men and women. Look at them as they come out, they will be a consolation for the disaster I have brought to her. When you look upon their conduct and actions, you will realise that I acted with just cause. Isa 22:1-14 Zeph 3:11-13
Ezekiel 16:59-63 The Lord says; I shall treat you as you deserve, because you violated an oath and broke our covenant. But I shall remember you as in the days of your youth and will establish an everlasting covenant with you. Once I have pardoned you, [Judah] you will be so ashamed and humiliated when you remember all your past conduct that you will never again open your mouth. Zechariah 12:5
My comments:
This prophecy is about the end of the world as we know it. The Day of the Lord’s vengeance and wrath, will change our way of life. Those ‘dwellers in the Land’, that is in Greater Israel, face severe punishments for their sins and abominations. THEN, the rest of all the 12 tribes of Israelites will join them in all the Land of Greater Israel, to prepare for the Return of Jesus. Ezekiel 20:34-38, Ezekiel 36:8-12, Isaiah 11:11-12.

Isaiah 65:1-2 I was ready to respond, but no one asked – I said; Here I am, to a nation who would not call out to Me. All day long, I hold out My hands, appealing to those rebellious people, but they went their own, evil way and pursued their own devices.
Isaiah 65:3-7 They were a people who provoked Me by sacrificing to idols and eating unclean things. Such people are an anathema to Me. Your record lies before Me, I shall fully repay your iniquities, both yours and your forefathers.
Isaiah 65:8-9 The Lord says; as there is juice in a bunch of grapes, so I shall act for the sake of My servants. I shall leave a remnant, giving descendants to Jacob and heirs to Judah. My chosen ones will possess the Land. Those who serve Me will live there. Sheep and cattle will graze there, they will belong to My people – those who seek Me. Isaiah 41:19-21 Micah 4:6 Ezekiel 39:25-29
Isaiah 65:11-12 But you who forsake the Lord, I shall destine you for the sword, because when I called, you did not answer, you chose what displeased Me.
Isaiah 65:13-16 The Lord says; My servants will eat, drink and rejoice, while you are put to shame. You will cry in anguish, but My righteous people, I will call by another name. All their troubles are forgotten, out of sight. Ref: REB. Some verses abridged.
My comments;
Isaiah 65:8-16 The Lords righteous people will live in New Israel. Isaiah 65:17-25 describes the joys and blessings of the Millennium reign of Jesus, to come later.
Ancient Israel disobeyed the Lord and failed to follow His commands. Now, modern Israel [the Jews] fail to acknowledge how God has supported them. Also, the modern House of Israel [the western nations] are mostly atheistic or apostate. The Lord is going to judge both Judah and Israel, leaving only a remnant. V9 ‘My chosen people, those who seek Me, will possess the Promised Land. [before the Return of Jesus]
V 13 “My servants will live in peace and security, while your enemies are shamed”.

What prophecy says, prophecy means

In order to understand end time events, it is necessary to be clear about the provable fact of the continued separation of the House of Judah (the Jews) from the House of Israel (the 10 Northern tribes). While, at present, about half of the world’s Jews live in the State of Israel, they do not claim descent from tribes other than Judah, Benjamin and Levi.
It is God’s plan that the ten Northern tribes of Israel and the Jews, be dispersed around the world and that Israel lose its identity; Ezekiel 36. The restoration and redemption of the Lord’s people, is a theme well covered by almost all the prophets. His people are true descendants of all the 12 tribes – those who love the Lord and follow His ways. Aliens too will be able to join them.
Prophecy is quite clear about the eventual rejoining and gathering of all Israel into the Land promised to their forefathers. When this will happen is the question to consider. Most church teaching says this will occur at the time of Jesus’ return, when He gathers His chosen from the four corners of the earth’. Matthew 24:31. As Israelites are not specified, these people will be from every race and creed – those who have kept their faith in God and have not taken the mark of the beast.
Careful study of Scripture makes it clear that the Israelites [Amos 9:8b-12] will resettle all of the Land promised to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. The current inhabitants of Greater Israel face judgement in this next prophesied event – the day of the Lord’s vengeance and wrath. Isaiah 2:12-22, Ezekiel 21:6-7, Hosea 3:3-6 & 12-15.
His people, the faithful Israelites will be saved and protected – Hosea 11:8-9. They will be a light to the nations and will prepare for the coming Kingdom of Jesus.

Ezekiel 20:36-44 ...’I will state My case with you, as in the days of Egypt’. This second Exodus of the Israelites will take place in a similar way as the first. Then both verses 42 and 44 say: ‘You will know that I am the Lord ‘. Therefore all this takes place before the return of Jesus, as then all the world will know and see His glory and presence.

We, as Christians, must lead lives that will be judged worthy, so when this gathering of His people happens – in the near future, we may be accepted to live in the Land.

Restoration of all Isarel

Restoration of all Israel
Ezekiel 37:1-10 The prophesy of the valley of dry bones.
Ezekiel 37:11-14....these bones are the whole people of Israel, they say; our bones are dry, our hope is gone.... The Lord says; My people, I shall bring you up from your graves and restore you to the Land of Israel. You will know that I am Y’hovah when I do this. I will put My spirit in you and settle you on your own soil.
The Israelites were punished by God for their sins by dispersion into other lands. That is why they cry ‘our hope is gone, we are cut off’, they have lost their Israelite identity, and become spiritually dead. Note that the bones, which metaphorically represent all 12 tribes of Israel, are displayed in an open field, showing that their exile is not an actual captivity. Ezekiel’s task is to bring the good news to them, to revive their hope and faith, that they are still God’s people, He hasn’t broken His covenant with them, He still loves them and the time has come when He will restore them into the Promised Land.
The restoration of the whole House of Jacob, all 12 tribes, must happen before the Millennial time and the war of Gog and Magog in order for the Temple to be rebuilt and the 144,000 to be selected. The spiritual death of the children of Israel will not last much longer. Through the prophet Elijah [Malachi 4:5], God will awaken them to their divine destiny. The long exile will be over; they will establish their own politically independent State in all of the Holy Land. The first stage of this redemption has been done in part of the Land, by the Jewish people, but they too, have not yet received a renewal of God’s Spirit. The ‘dry bones’ prophecy of Ezekiel does not mean physical resurrection of the dead, but is a symbolic vision, similar to other Biblical allegories. It means the end of exile and the beginning of restoration. Eze 11:19, Eze 36:24-28 & 38

Ezekiel 37:15-28... I am taking the leaf of Israel and joining it to the leaf of Judah; they will be as one in My hand. I shall assemble them from every quarter and restore them to their own soil....
The prophecy of the ‘dry bones’ continues on to the “two leaf” prophecy. This is the time when the House of Judah rejoins with the House of Israel, separated since King Rehoboam’s time. It is only when the both Houses reject their apostasy and sins, that they will be ready to become one nation again, a nation of priests and a light to the world. Still, this is not the final redemption, but a preliminary one, to enable their regathering and settlement into the Land of Greater Israel. Final redemption of the whole House of Israel will follow the destruction of the armies of Gog, who is motivated to attack because New Israel will be so wealthy and prosperous.

Ezekiel 38 & 39 The attack on New Israel by the armies of Gog and their destruction.
38:8...you will invade a land restored from ruin....the Israelites, brought out from the nations, living in peace and prosperity. [after the next war- before the return of Jesus]
Ezekiel 39:21-29....from that Day forward the Israelites will know that I am the Lord their God...... I have dealt out to them what their sins deserved... now I shall restore all of them, leaving none behind and make them exemplify My Holiness for many nations to see. No longer will I hide My face from them, I who have poured out My spirit on Israel. This is the Word of Y’hovah. Reference: REB. Some verses abridged. Bruce McKerras March 2011

Prophetic future

It was not the intention of God, to give His prophets a clear, instantly understandable message. To have done that would have revealed His plans to all and sundry.
We can never fully ascertain God’s ultimate design for His creation, although it is clear that he does want those who believe in Him and trust to His salvation, to be aware of coming events. We are told to trust Him and hold fast to our faith, but to do that in the midst of sudden and shocking events, without some idea of the outcome of such events, and then it is so much more difficult for us.
Therefore, because God HAS given us the information we need to know about the future, then it is a serious error to ignore it, to fail to gain some understanding or to think that a ‘rapture’ or death will take us away from it all.

It must be obvious, to anyone who reads the news, that the current world situation is nearing unsustainability, in terms of resources and population. But the flash point and the focal point of God’s plan, is the Middle East. God has not, in the past 63 years, allowed Israel to be conquered and He will not allow that to happen now. Although there will be another judgement upon the Jewish people, they will eventually be forgiven and restored. Ezekiel 16:59-63.
Many prophecies tell of God’s fire judgement, this has not happened as yet, His first judgement was by flood. This coming Lord’s Day of vengeance and wrath, is described as a terrible day of fire and sword. It will be a Day “when the heavens blaze” 2 Peter 3:12,
“burning like a furnace” Malachi 4:1, “raining fiery coals” Psalm 11:4-6, “fire like a whirlwind, many will be killed” Isaiah 66:15-17, “suddenly, in an instant....flames of devouring fire” Isaiah 29:5-6.
But the verse that tells us exactly how God will act on that day is Isaiah 30:26a- The moon will shine as bright as the sun and the sun will shine with 7 times its normal power.
This accurately describes a solar flare, something that does happen in a small way on a regular basis. In the past there have been larger coronal mass ejections [CME sunspots] but scientists warn of the possibility/probability of a massive CME, that in our modern age of communications, transport and conveniences, would have a devastating effect.

Now, note the second half of Isaiah 30:26b... on that Day, the Lord will bind up the broken limbs of His people and heal their wounds.
This is a wonderful promise to His people, those who love the Lord and follow in His laws, righteous Israel. Many, many prophecies tell how His people will be conveyed and gathered into the Land of Greater Israel after this Day of judgement. This day and the gathering are quite different from that described at the return of Jesus - years later.
Isaiah 52:6-12 On that day, My people will know My Name.....go out leave Babylon, keep yourselves pure, the Lord will guard and guide you.
Ezekiel 28:25-26 When I execute judgement on all of Israel’s scornful neighbours, then My people, all the Israelites, gathered from the nations, will live in peace in the Land, I shall show My holiness in them for everyone to see. [Before Jesus Returns]
Ezekiel 20:41-42 I shall accept you....after I have brought you out from the peoples where you have been dispersed, into the Land promised to your forefathers.

Go tell the Israelites

Go, tell the Israelites; ..........
Ezekiel 20:30......... the Lord God says: Are you defiling yourselves as your forefathers did and lusting after other gods?
Eze 20:31-32 You are defiling yourselves this very day with your false religions and insincere faith. Israel, I refuse to be consulted by you. You can never be like the other nations, who worship idols.
Eze 20:33-34 As I live, says Y’hovah, I shall reign over you with a strong hand and by My wrath, I shall bring you out from the peoples and gather you from the countries where you have been dispersed.
Eze 20:35-36 I shall bring you into the Meeting place in the desert, there I shall confront you and bring you to judgement. Just as I did in Egypt with your forefathers, so I shall judge you.
Eze 20:37-38 I shall make you pass under the rod [of judgement] and I will bring you into the bond of the Covenant. All those who rebel or revolt against Me will not set foot on the soil of Israel.
Eze 20:39-42 Now, you Israelites – go serve your idols. But in days to come you will be punished for it, then no more will you desecrate My holy Name. For there, in the land of Israel, the entire House of Israel will serve Me. After I have restored you to the Land of your ancestors, I shall require your offerings and gifts and then I will accept you as a fragrant incense. Isa 45:16-17
Eze 20:42-44 When I resettle you into Eretz Israel, you will despise yourselves for your past conduct and you will know that I am your God. Not as your wickedness deserves, but as the honour of My Holy Name demands. Isa 43:25
Eze 20:45-48 The Word of the Lord came to me: Ezekiel, turn and face toward the South, prophesy to the desert of the Negev. Say to it: The Lord God says – I am about to set a fire in you and it will consume all flammable things. Its fiery flame will not be put out and all people from the South to the North will be scorched by it. All will see that it is I, Y’hovah, who has set it ablaze, not to be quenched.

My comments and matching verses;
V 30-32 Judah and Israel alike are atheistic, apostate, pursue false religions and materialism. This is not their destiny. Isa 48:13, Isa 60:3.
V 33-38 After the Day of vengeance and wrath, Y’hovah will gather His people into the Land of Eretz Israel. Isa 11-11-13, Isa 14:1-2, Isa 35:10, Jer 5:26, Isa 1:25.
V 39-40 Do as you will for now, but judgement will come. Isa 41:1, Hosea 12:2 In the Land of New Israel, all 12 tribes will serve the Lord. Isa 26:2, Isa 29:22-23, Isa 66:20-21, 1 Peter 2:9-10. “You will know that I am your God” this phrase would be unnecessary if all of this prophecy takes place after the Return of Jesus. Therefore, this all happens before that. His people, a righteous nation, living in peace and security in the Holy Land – being “a light to the nations”. Isa 10:20-23
V 45-48 There is no record of an event as described, happening in the Negev area. The description is what would result from a coronal mass ejection [sunspot] This is the Lord’s Day of vengeance and wrath, which will clear all the area of Greater Israel.
